Water Shortage
With summer coming up the water companies are starting to say that water levels are at all time low. I don’t know about you but I think that they should get there house in order before tell us to cut back.
Lots of services and peoples income rely on water, so if people like carpet cleaners lose income because of this do we have a claim? After watching the news this morning it looks like the water companies rely on us to tell them where they have leaks, fine but, would you call a call centre and be on line for hours only to find out that nothing is done about it?
One leak in Essex was left for five years. How mad is that.
anyway as professional carpet cleaners we have a back up plan and that’s our “Bone Dry” system so if you feel that it would be wrong to clean you carpet because of a water shortage then you can go ahead with a clear mind.

Bone Dry Carpet Cleaning
Things are moving on in carpet cleaning with improvements in the products. Year ago Dry carpet cleaning was not as good as it today.
I have not been a lover of this way of cleaning carpets in the past, but have started to use it when asked by clients. I have been impressed by its performance.
I did a job today and was asked to use this system. I looked at the level of soiling and thought the result would not be very good. so I said to the client if they thought the clean was not up to their expectations then i would did again for free. this way if it did not come up i was coving myself, it better than making excuses after.
I can say that the result blow me away. The client was pleased as well.
just goes to show you that sometimes its worth trying.

Did you know that some spotters that you get from the supermarket can cause a stain?
what happens is that if you use to much it will leave some spotter on the carpet that will attract dirt and make it look like you have not removed the satin.
It’s the over use or high use of detergent that is the problem
